With the growing demand for nature in home decor, it’s a great time to share the newest Design-Craft® additions with your clients — the Remnants Collection on the Pike’s Peak door style. There are four wood-grain patterns and colors; each with a unique look comprised of characteristics found in timeworn woods such as weathered barn wood. The collection offers the perfect blend of nature and technology in a material known as textured melamine and is designed to enhance transitional and modern designs.
Beyond the beauty of the colors and patterns is a dimensional surface that beckons to be touched to be appreciated. The grain pattern is literally embossed into the melamine, so when light moves about the room throughout the day, the depth is further revealed completing the sense of reality intended in each door.
The Remnants Collection color palette was carefully selected for today's trending designs in neutral interior themes. While each color can stand alone, our favorite designs include pairing the Remnants Collection with contrasting materials.
Our "beautiful blonde" Desert Wood kitchen is in washed, golden toffee tones that are contrasted by the stunning brilliance of Gardenia gloss acrylic. Looking deeper into the design we incorporated the Catania brushed stainless with frosted glass into the multipurpose furniture and appliance ensemble, adding dimension and softening the sleek, acrylic composition. Atmospheric calm is evident, and white is simply hot in today's design trends for cabinetry throughout the home.
On the opposite end of the color spectrum, the "bold and beautiful" come together with a touch of glamour in this European-inspired design. Tobacco's bold, rich textured color is softened by the lustrous Brava glass doors in Mocha gloss. Finishing touches of decorative hardware in smooth gold tones contrast the texture, sheen and color against the Tobacco fronts. The hardware brings artistry and warmth to the room scape for a dream kitchen come true!
Consider the Remnants Collection for Transitional designs by blending any of the four textured finishes with our palette of Classic paints.
We have visions of Silver Moss with Irish Créme, lovely on the Loxley door for a soft approach to the textured look.
Create a unique plantation style by combining Tobacco and Chai Latte on Bahama’s.
Satin, nickel hardware with subtle curved details complements the neutral tones of the cabinetry and balances the elements of modern and traditional style.
Driftwood paired with Catania in brushed stainless steel offers a complement to modern appliances for the urban industrial look.
Desert Wood with Carlton in oil rubbed bronze sets the scene for an industrial theme with a rustic flair. Dark metal finishes are trending and offer bold, geometric framing.
Decorative pulls that combine frosted glass and metal add further interest to the mixed materials styling theme.
Dark bronze or matte black pulls add contrast for a more dramatic feel.
